All About Studying For Finals

With the end of the school year quickly approaching many of us are trying to find ways to make studying for finals more organized and less complicated. Studying for finals can be stressful, especially when more than one of your finals falls on the same day and when you have busy schedule already!

Below are some easy tips that I use to make studying a little easier and a little less stressful!

1.Use Flashcards

Making flashcards to study is common but affective. Flashcards usually have a concept or term on the front side and the definition or explanation on the reverse side. Making flashcards of terms or concepts is an easy way to take studying on the go as well as an easy way to study alone!

2. Utilize the Margins

Using the margins of my papers has easily become one of my personal favorite ways to study. The Margins on your notes and written assignments can be used for in so many different ways. You can use them to highlight the important pieces of your notes that you know you will need again, to draw diagrams, to give examples, label, write summaries, or to write down questions that you want to look further into.

Using the margins of your notes and written assignments is a simple way to make studying a little less stressful because it makes it easier to find the topics and sub topics that you may need to study a little extra.

3. Use colorful Pens and Sticky Notes

Using colorful pens and sticky notes is an easy way to organize and label notes that need to studied and remembered.

I hope these tips are helpful as finals week approaches!
