St. Patricks Day Snacks

With St. Patrick’s Day only a few days away I wanted to share some of my all time favorite treats to make around this time of the year. These snacks/ desserts are not only suitable for St. Patrick’s day but can also easily be adjusted to fit any holiday.

1. Mint M&M Brownie Cookies-

If chocolate is your go to then this is the cookie for Mint M&M Brownie Cookiesyou! These Brownie based cookies are filled with chocolate chips, and mint M&M’s!

Ingredients:

 

  • 18.2 oz. box brownie mix
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ¼ cup canola or vegetable oil
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup mint M&M’s

2.St. Patrick’s Day Rice Krispie Treats-

I am a huge fan of rice krispie treats! They only require a few ingredients and don’t require a lot of time. Rice krispie treats are also one of my favorite snacks to make while with my nieces or babysitting because they are fun and easy for children to make as well.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 4 cups  of soft marshmallows
  • 5 cups of rice cereal
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • green food coloring
  • 3/4 cups of Lucky Charms marshmallows

3. Shamrock Milkshake-

Milkshakes are one of my favorite desserts, so I was so happy to find a recipe that included my favorite flavor in ice-cream, Mint! This recipe is both easy to follow and only has a few ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 4 to 5 drops of green food coloring
  • whipped cream
  • Sprinkles(optional)
  • Cherries(optional)
